This is one of my favorites because it brings back such great memories of when I was a child as well as the wide variety of activities you can do with this story. The story allows for so many different core curriculum areas to be fostered while providing an opportunity to share with a whole new generation this classic story.
This looks great! I remember reading this book with my mom and grandmother when I was young and then seeing the play. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteI love the colorful blog you've created. I also love this book. The reasons you like it are also why I enjoy using it in class. The kids love acting like the monkeys, counting the caps, and making their own caps in the art center.
